Dear Linda and the Benefit4Kids Staff:

 

Thank you so much for the wonderful falconry wish trip that you so generously gave to Tanya and our family,  we had a terrific time enjoying the beautiful fall color and enjoyed looking out onto the lake from our cabin every day.  That is a sight so unlike what we have here in California.

The people of the Michigan Hawking club were so kind and generous and very knowledgeable.  We learned all about the different birds, how they were humanely trapped and raised to learn to hunt and survive and all about their habits.  It was so interesting.  We even got to see a young Red tail hawk kill his first rabbit.  It was a little difficult to watch but amazing to see how he caught the bunny with such quickness and grace.

We also want to thank you for arranging the perch-fishing trip.  Though we did not have much luck catching anything and I was extremely sea sick, we did enjoy being out on Lake Erie and spending the day with Captain Dave and First Mate Garth.

I have enclosed some thank you’s for people we don’t have addresses for and hope that you will help us by completing the addresses and dropping them in the mail.  I have already mailed our thank you and pictures to the Michigan Hawking Club.

Again, I’d  like to thank you for your kindness and generosity in helping to make Tanya’s wish come true.
